US or IOA with younger children

Hello,

I will be down at US and IOA in October and have 3 children (5-8) and was wondering (if there is a better park between the two for this age group). I am also going between the combo-pass - both parks in 1 day. Also, is there a better day of the week during Oct/Nov to go to US and IOA? thanks for your help

Both parks offer areas that appeal to this age group. First ones that come to mind are Seuss Landing at IoA and Fievel's Playland at the Studios. Best days with lowest crowds at either park are Tuesday through Thursday, and often Sunday.

We took a 2 y/o and 5 y/o who enjoyed the parks, but Universal in our opinion didn't have that much for kids. IoA was way better.

Now we have an 8 y/o, 6 y/o and twin 5 y/o who are big thrill seekers, I'm holding out much more hope
