If I wait and purchase them in Fl.can I show my AAA card and get a discount or do I need to by them at my local AAA office prior to my trip?

If you want the discount, you would probably need to purchase them at your local office. You would have to go to an AAA office in Florida to get the discounts and that could take quite a while. For example...there are no AAA offices close enough to Universal to make it worth the trouble.
