Hey everyone,
Thought you might like to visit my trip report which is currently in progress over on the Canadian Board:
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2864779
We were first-time visitors to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, SeaWorld and Discovery Cove, and my report will outline our experiences at each park with lots of photos. Feel free to take a peek if it interests you
.
I must say we LOVED the Universal and SeaWorld parks. After a Disney-only trip in 2009 (which was absolutely fantastic), we wondered if this getaway could measure up to the "magic". Quite honestly, I think we enjoyed this vacation even more.
We loved the dining/shopping/entertainment options of being off Disney property (there is soooo much more to Orlando than just Disney), we loved having a bigger room than what Disney provides, we loved the playfulness of I-Drive, and the staff at the Universal and SeaWorld parks equalled Disney in their customer service and friendliness.
And the shopping..........

.
Anyhoo, just wanted to invite you to click the link and join in.
I was torn as to where to post the report, but thought since it was more than just a US/IOA summary, it might be best placed over in the Canadian Trip Planning forum.
