US/IOA February 2019 Vacation Week

We are heading to warmer weather during the kids February vacation week (Feb 16-22). We've done both US/IOA before and Disney many times. Any particular considerations for this week at the Universal parks? I know it is a busier than average time at Disney.

We stay in a condo for the week but if I book a night at the Royal Pacific, we would have express passes from check in to check out. I'm thinking this is a good option to cover 2 days for 5 people. Does this hotel also offer Early Morning hours?

You would get the Early Entry and Express Passes for check in and check out day with the RPR reservation. You could also sleep / change / shower / otherwise use the room if desired, and would have pool hopping priveledges to the pools at all the hotels.

I went the week leading up to President's day and that weekend this year. It was busy and the weather was Superb! The week before was busier than the holiday weekend and Pres day itself was actually our slowest UO day.
