Hi all. I am planning on going to US/IOA in November. We have never been there in all our trips to WDW/SW so I have no idea if it is possible to hit the main attractions in both parks in one day during the second week of November. I am going with BFF and her kids. Her DD is a huge Harry Potter fan so they will probably spend most of their time there. My kids and me are not HP fans so we are hoping to hit the highlights of US/IOA in one day. Looks like last November the parks were open until about 6 p.m. during that time. I am just wondering if you think buying the 2-park pass is worthwhile or should we just pick one park and stick with that? I am leaning towards trying to do both parks because I know I probably won't be going back to US/IOA any time soon. Thanks for any insight!

I kind of sounds like your group would probably be happier with IOA since that's where Harry Potter is. I don't think you'd really be able to do both parks in a single day once WWoHP opens anyway...unless you skip the majority of attractions. You might want to study a map and see which attractions at both parks you want to concentrate on and go from there.

We're also going during the same time and we only want to spend one day at Universal Studios. Our travel agent suggested an express pass. It's costly but she said we can walk on any ride and not wait like you would a fastpass. She also said there is a limited amount they sell per day so you must book a specific day in advance.

Unless you're going Thanksgiving weekend, it would be wise to wait until you arrive to purchase the EP...they are non-refundable and date specific. I doubt seriously you would have a problem with the EP's selling out for the Studios. Most of the crowds should be at IOA.
