US confirmation nr

I just have to ask as it seems the US WDW site isn't able to retrieve reservations right now. If I remember this right, I think I read on DIS that the US confirmation nr is supposed to be 12 digits? I just called the UK nr and got an 8 digit nr looking like this(just en example nr): ABC12345. Does that look right? I asked if it was right on the phone, but I got disconnected and couldn't be bothered calling up again to wait through a phone queue.

That's the new format (3+5). Those that had the original format (12), had problems linking ADR's to their bookings, so were unable to book at 180 + 10 online. I was lucky & had the 3+5, so was able to do all my ADR's online.
