Is there a way to add on another person to my reservation that is already made? My son decided to come on my trip and I am trying to figure out how add him in.

i would call the airline and ask... otherwise just have him book a single ticket and at check in you can see if he can sit near you.

If you call and have someone do it-- it will cost money.

do it yourself and book him on his own confirmation number and book a seat close to you.

I tried just booking him a ticket but its not a direct flight and he is a minor so it wouldn't let me do it:

If you don;t want to pay the phone fee you could always just book him as an adult on the website. There is no discount for children and since you are flying with him there will not be any issues at the airport.

I have never bothered to buy a "child ticket" on a domestic flight and I've never had any issues.
