Us Airways Flights Help !!!!!!!!

I found some pretty good prices on line for our WDW trip in 6 months from US airways. These prices are $158 round trip per person from northeast. Spoke with my travel agent and she tells me that US air has filed chapter 11 for the second time and the goverment gave them until June to get there act together. So I shouldn't book with then even with that cheap of a flight. Because our trip is so far out and anything could happen.
I am looking for imput from my fellow board members on this. My thought was at $158 which is $79 oneway, around what Southwest would be why not. I wouldn't have to wait several months for SW to open up those dates. Any help thank you.

Unless I've missed something, I think your travel agent is mistaken. US airways filed for bankruptcy last September. I've read that they have new labor deals, new financing, and plan to come out of bankruptcy in June.

They have financing through June but should be out of bankruptcy this year. You should check out www.flyertalk.com under miles and points go to the USAirways forum. They are very knowledgeable about everything connected to USAirways.

I wouldn't believe the agent.
