I have one... and it burns....

but I was wondering if anyone else had one? How long do they last?

Always, ALWAYS had them.

Tips?

Drink Cranberry juice
and dont expect to actually have to use the bathroom even though you feel like it.

Meaning.
If you feel like you have to tinkle, then go, but dont ALWAYS expect to tinkle even though it feels like you have to.

yeah this is the first one I've ever had!

and I know what you mean, I feel like I ALWAYS have to go! but it's hard to ignore all those temptations... because the reason I got myself into this mess in the first place was because I use tho always hold it in lol. So I feel like I do have to go all the time, but it only burns.. eek.

It usually always helps to know that someone else out there has the same thing.

Nope no family thing.
I say just to test it go even when you know its a false alarm, it will burn like CRAZY but I found its better to just go, otherwise you dont feel like you will pee your pants if you dont.


I dont know why I always had it, but its calmed down now ill find myself still getting it, but anything with cranberries in it, ususally helps.

Oh another tip!

When you wipe yourself in the bathroom, wipe from front to back, dont wipe back to front.
Thats a main cause.

Also, I suggest showers instead of baths because soap suds, can help continue the infection.

Try to wear cotton underwear, that helps big time too.

According to a routine urine test that I had to get for college, I had one?
That was news to me. I never had any symptoms.
Good luck with yours though. I've never had one, but I know people who have, and they don't sound like fun.
