Urgent!!!!! Old key West!

I am waking up extra early tomorrow to check in at Old Key West so I can get a good room. Does anyone know what building is best? We want something close to the pool, food, etc. It's our first stay at OKW, so we have no idea which building is best. We are staying in a two-bedroom, incase that matters. Thanks!

Simply tell them you would like to be near the main pool. That will put you near the Hospitality House which where the food is.

I always ask for the main pool area, never get it, but am never disappointed with any of the locations.

Bldgs 11 to 14 are the closest, bldgs in the 60s numbers would be good, too. Depending on who is travelling in your party and how much privacy you are comfortable with, there was a design change during OKW construction for the 1 bedroom and larger units. Older bldgs has access to the master bathroom only through the master bedroom. Bldgs 30 and higher have this entrance, plus a bathroom entrance through the laundry room. For immediate family, probably not a major issue...for more distant relative and friends I'd try for 30+ building numbers.

Bldgs 11 - 14 and 62 - 64 (only ones with elevators) are closest to main pool and Hospitality House. Next best is across the bridge 23, 24, 25, and 26. Bldgs 30 - 44 are the most remote.

over the bridge and toward the back will provide you with a quiet atmosphere, and quiet pool with snack bar and view of the golf course.

if you're looking for lots of activity - take any of the suggestions above and stay near the hospitality house - never a dull moment there!

I'm a Southpoint fan myself..very quiet, at the back of the resort but still not a bad walk (5-7 minutes to HH). I like Turtle Pond pool better than main pool for the same reason.
