Hi I'm fairly new to the boards, but I'm in need a big favor from your girls. My fiance and I have to get married next may, we had originally planned for may 3/08, but we recently realized how much prettier it is in Canada simply a week later! Our trees now have leaves and our flowers are up, the pictures would be way better.

Heres where I need your diney knowledge, will having our wedding on on may or 17, mean that disney will be alot hotter and busier? Is it still a good price or did the price just jump by quite a bit? We have both only been to disney once but Im a disney junkie and he is too. We want our honeymoon to be nice and be able to do alot of the attractions with out melting lol. Please help, I tried googling, but to no avail. Plz I need you wisdom and pixie dust.

Sorry I forgot to add its urgent because we need to book our reception hall soon, also we don't mind keeping or moving the date. Thanks in advance.

May 24th begins the 'summer' season at Disney so the prices will jump at that point. Before the 24th it is regular season so the prices will be a little lower and cowds better. Temperature will be about the same. And you will will kinda melt.. it is pretty hot in fla not matter when you go but hopefully it wont be too unbearable and just make sure to take lots of rests in the afternoon in the hottest part. Good luck

Thank you so much for that. Will the park be crowded then ? Does anyone know if there is alot of special events going on then?

You're welcome. The parks should be manageable by using fast pass and getting to the parks when they open. School shouldn't be out yet here so hopefully you will miss the summer rush. The flower and garden festival will be taking place during that time at Epcot and it is great to see all the flowers and my favorites are the topiary's!

There are quite a few school groups taking end of the school year trips around this time. Temp is usually mid to high 80s.
My best pieces of WDW advice are to always avoid MK on Saturdays, use park hoppers to jump to a less crowded park, and make your ADRs as far in advance as you can!
I'll be there next Sunday & Monday so I'm curious to see what the crowds will be like. They seem to really be increasing the past two years. Although I think that's because people finally started getting over their 9/11 travel fears.

Thank you guys so much. What is an ADR exactly? Also, wehn you get back from your trip could you message me and let me know what its like? Thanks again for everyones help, your making our disney dreams come true.

An ADR is an Advance Dining Reservation (which is more like a window - you show up at that time and then you get the next available table, however long that takes). Because the table-service restaurants are so popular now, you need to make reservations for the places you want to eat before you get to the parks. The Dining board will answer all your questions! :thumbsup2

With the increased popularity of the dining plan it is tough to get into some of the table service restaurants these days. I try to make mine as far in possible! Make sure if you do make them that you tell them you are on your honeymoon!
