So sorry for your loss. I agree that give kids the world would be a wonderful choice. If you don't know much about them, when a kid makes a wish to come to Disney or Universal, that's where they stay. It is a village filled with small twin houses and a few apartment style rooms that are all ADA accessible and can accommodate the many medical needs of the children visiting. There is unlimited ice cream from breakfast until at least 9 pm (which is one of the kids favorite parts). There is an ADA accessible playground and pool. All the meals are provided for the families at the village for free while they're there so parents don't have to worry about the cost of food in the parks. They have halloween and christmas events every week. Disney sends characters over to meet children twice a week and Universal once a week. I think Sea World sends characters too. It provides the kids with a much calmer, low key way to meet the characters. They even have 4 ADA accessible rides for the kids on-site. It is truly an amazing place where kids can forget about being sick or different for awhile. Many of the kids can't spend the entire day in the parks because of health issues so it's nice for them to have such a fun place to come back to after a day in the park.
