URGENT Ebay Question - Shipping

Hi! I asked this on the ebay post, but I guess it got lost in the shuffle.

I have a bunch of old record albums ending today, and I still haven't figured out the best way to ship them. They will be sent Media Mail. I'm trying to come up with a safe & easy way to package them. Some will be in lots of 3-4. And one will be a lot of about 20-25 (so far).

Does anybody have any advice for me so that I can package them up as soon as the auction ends today? I'm thinking 2 pieces of cardboard with duct tape may work unless someone has a better idea. It looks like these bidders are major collectors, and I don't want to offend them in my packaging attempts....nor do I want the records broken or bent in the mail....

I would use lots and lots of cardboard to keep them from bending. I would also wrap the records in a large plastic bag to prevent the cardboard from scratching the record jackets. Then I would wrap the cardboard record bundle in bubble wrap and either ship in a box or large bubble envelope. I really don't think you will offend collectors with your packaging as long as everything is secure and clean. Try not to use cardboard that has stains on it. Good luck.

If your buyers are collectors (which they probably are), I would ask them what they recommend as they probably deal with it far more than you do. They know what works and what doesn't. I've sold a few things over the years that the buyer suggested a packing method for.

He sells them 25 for 13.50 and they are made specifically for shipping LP's. He is the cheapest I found, I did research because I was thinking of selling mine too and didn't want to just send them and risk their getting damaged and then have to deal w/efunds etc...
