I have this thing where I have to speak to people I see in streets, pubs, shops etc wearing crocs.

DH says I am mad because he says other people just see crocs as footwear.

On Friday we were in our local pub and I spot a girl wearing them. DH tells me not to go up to her but when he goes to the bar I just had to ask her if she liked them and tell her all about my croc collection.

Do you think I have a problem?

Susan

yes you have a problem...is there a crocs anonymous nearby :lmao:

i do the same thing when anybody mentions the word disney ;) dh goes pale and tries to steer me away :confused3

A Croc collection ??? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: How many pairs do you have ??

Mandy :)

p.s. ... and she seemed so normal too :lmao: :lmao:

Oh I forgot to say that I don't stop and speak to people at WDW wearing them as so many people wear them I would never get to ride on anything.

I also point at their feet whenever we pass people if I don't have time to grab them before I am whisked off my Mark and Kirsty.

As I now walk to work in them they do look kind of wierd with a nice pair of work trousers or a skirt!!!

I just can't wait until August to get my Disney crocs.

I admit I do look for people wearing crocs too!!

I noticed one of the parents of a child in my class was wearing a pair (I had my black Mickey ones on which my class love!) A few days later at parents evening she noticed I was wearing crocs and our parent/teacher consultation then ended in a discussion about the merits of crocs!!

So you are not the only one with a problem, I guess I do too!!

So how many pairs are in your collection? I have 6!!! 2 Disney pairs (white pair and a black pair), 3 Mary Jane (in gold, brown and black) and a pair of black Prima!

I guess they are comfortable, but they dont look it to me. I am thinking of getting a pair for work. They are rubber? They look easy to clean compared to my other work shoes. Do they take long to ease in, do they make your feet sweat? Do they rub on the soles or sides? Sorry to ask but they have been bugging me for ages and I have just not had it in me to go and try them on.

Wow, Sue, I'm impressed! I really want a pair of the Disney Crocs BUT I'm confused on size! Can you tell me what I should go for? I'm a size 4 UK - should I choose a size up or what???? I'm very confused and would be grateful for any help you can give me... :thumbsup2

I'm a UK size 4 1/2. Both my pairs of Disney crocs are a size S (a US size 6/7, UK size 4/5). They are supposed to be big and they are but they do not rub anywhere and are soooo comfy! The basic thing is that a womens US size is 2 sizes above a UK size.

So a size S should suit me?! Thanks v much - I'll order a pair tomorrow... :thumbsup2

Oh Sue, you are not weird at all, I get the urge too, although I have to say i was the one that started the craze at school with the mums, and now one of them has started stocking them in her shoe shop, and she can't believe the response, she had to order loads more:goodvibes But i do wonder about where people heard about them when I see them on the street, and if it was related to a disney trip:lmao:

You and me will have to start group croc therapy:cool1:

I don't feel the need to speak to complete strangers just cos they're wearing crocs. I have had a few people speak to me because of mine though.

I have to say, although I love my crocs I think even I would draw the line at the disney ones.

I have never approached anyone wearing them, but when I was at the Dancing on Ice tour at Manchester Arena last weekend, I was wearing my pink Mary Janes, and a lady came up to me (she had black Caymans on) and proceeded to launch into a full blown Crocs conversation about how many pairs she has got, best thing she's ever bought, where do I get mine from etc etc etc......my mum was killing herself giggling as I think I had a horrified look on my face! This lady was a bit scary and in my face to be honest :lmao:

I think you two need to go to crocaholics anonymous :lmao:

Are crocs really comfy to wear walking fairly long distances?

I have to admit that I bought a red pair at the weekend but I really didn't mean to!! I was in a shoe shop trying to buy some sandals for summer and I got them ok. I saw a rack of crocs and said to my Mum that they'd always intrigued me as I'd read so much about them on here but thought they were funny looking and how could they be comfy!! She told me to try a pair on and they were soooooooo comfy!!! So I just bought them!! What do people where them for, with etc? I also must confess to buying the little things to put in the holes - no idea what they're called!! I bought a Mickey and a Pooh one!!!

I saw someone this morning and had an urge to speak to them but didn't. But if i'm in a shoe shop (which is often) and someone looks at them I do have to tell people how comfy they are!

What are the Prima and Mary Janes like as i'm thinking of getting some more!?

The Mary Janes are very comfy Claire :thumbsup2 Haven't tried the Prima, although I'm sure someone said on here that they weren't as comfy as the other styles :confused3

Only because I know I was not in Manchester other than that that woman could have been me.

I have been known to hang around cars with those disney tops on waiting for the owners to get back.

I just kind of think that everybody feels the same as me. Its hard to imagine they don't. and thanks Claire for the support. I will be wearing my crocs on our "meet"

i dont think you have a problem
i dont know wether it is because i like them
whenever we go different places like the town if mum spots someone wearing crocs she says 'nice shoes'.
