Is there an upstairs area to eat at Pizza Planet? I've never eaten there, but the one time I went in it was so busy I left. How hard is it to get a table upstairs? And any recommendations of things to eat?

There are tables upstairs. How hard to get one depends on how busy they are. I think they probably fill up last - who wants to climb stairs if they can avoid it!

As to what to eat, we are not big fans of Pizza Planet. But we are not big fans of Disney pizza. It is the same pizza you would get at Pizzafari or any other counter service location. Nothing special. Not bad, but not good either. It will fill you up.

I had the kids meatball sub last time we ate there - it was pretty tasty.

You can sit upstairs any time you want if there is a table available. B/c it's a CS restaurant you will seat yourself. And the menu is pretty much summed up in the name of the restaurant...:goodvibes

Yes there's an upstairs - usually quieter and less crowded up there, that's where we eat when we go. Plus the windows are big on the one side and you have a nice view. We just get the pizza's and they come with fresh salads - pizza's always been hot, fresh and fairly good. QS restaurants lack in HS. Hope you enjoy your first time there.

FIVE DAYS UNTIL THE MAGIC :banana::banana::banana::banana:

Yes, it does have an upstairs; that is where we always sit and have lunch.

The food at Pizza Planet is very good. Have fun:banana:

We usually find there are more empty tables upstairs than downstairs. We've eaten here several times and always have eaten upstairs.

I totally agree. I personally think disney pizza is disgusting. I wouldnt eat it again. On our last trip we went to pizzafari/AK cause my son was hungry, I didnt have anything to eat when i saw it was the same type of disney pizza. I happily sipped on my gigantic pail of pop (which filled me up enough until the next meal!) :lmao:

We sat upstairs last time we were at Pizza Planet because it was the only place we could find a table! I actually preferred it because it was quieter.

We always head upstairs to eat. Gets Dd away from the games, a little quieter (not much but a little) and there has always been an open table.

They have an elevator to avoid climbing the stairs... we ate there the last 3yrs and always sat upstairs but always used the elevator to get up there.

So am I correct that you can order a kid's meal? I see that currently they have an adult cheese pizza, but they also have a kid's cheese pizza, which I assume is smaller. I'm not a big eater (except for dessert!) so that would let me get a carrot cookie at Writer's Stop later.

Had the veggie pizza and cappuccino cUpcake... Mmmmmmmm..... And yes we take the elevator to eat upstairs too!

Cappuccino Cupcake???? I'm intrigued....Tell me more please :yay:

I wish I had a picture lol- it was the most delicious dessert of our 12 day stay on the dining plan.... Light, fluffy, moist, perfect... The topping is tdf!!! I think it was garnished with tiny pieces of toffee? My husband even ran back to get one the day my parents wanted to have lunch at abc commissary. Yum!!!

We always stop at pizza planet , a change of pace, DS plays on few games, he saves his own money for it , We always sit upstairs, must be our timing, yes it noisy but not atypical with DS , the food is not luxury but it will do fine You can order whatever you want at counter service unless you are on the DDP:thumbsup2
