Upset with shipping costs @ disneyshopping.com

grr....I want some tee's from the disney store online, and we don't have a disney store here in Sydney and shipping is $38!! That is crazy! Does anyone know if the disney store in Halifax (or any other disney store in Canada) has the same great deals that are online?? (graphic tees for $4.99)??

I was in the Ottawa store earlier in the week and they were on for $6.99.

The shipping sucks. They lump Canada in with "overseas" shipping.

And always watch out for the mode of shipping. If it's through the postal service it's okay... but if it's by courier (especially UPS) you will very likely get hit with outlandish brokerage fees.

i remember ordering some stuff last year and could not beleive the shipping charge. Then i was also charged duty on my purchases., I wrote to Disney shopping aboute there outrageous fees and got a standard reply to the effect of we will let our marketing dept know.... Anyways, even when they offer free shipping w/i USA they still don't discount our.

Maybe if enough of us emailed them they would look into the fees.

that shipping is crazy, have you tried looking on ebay to see if you can find what your looking for there just an idea

That's crazy I just bought a stroller that had $40 shipping with customs on a stroller.

I too tried to order stuff a year or so ago and wrote them a long letter about the prices..........pretty much got a ho hum reply basically saying that is how much it costs to ship to Canada. What a joke! If it was reasonable I would be ordering all of the time!

That's a rip off--- I have an address I ship to in Lewiston N.Y but that is of little help to you...an hour+ for me..too far to be of much use otherwise. They sure don't make it easy for us here!
