Upset - darn board :(

I spent 20 minutes or so typing up day 2 of my trip report.. only when I hit submit I got an error page that informed me to refresh. I did and only got another error that say I needed to select a forum. I hit the back button and my post was gone

The same thing happened to me the other day. If you look in your history it might still be there. When I clicked my back button, it was blank but when I checked my History it was still there. Good Luck

That happens to me ALL the time!!! I am not the fastest typer but not horrendously slow either. Half the time I don't reply more than three sentences because I get the Dis screen of death that tells me "You are not logged in...."

I am sure somehow it is my fault but I don't know how to fix it!!!!!!!!

I have trouble with this too, so if it's a long post I'll type it in Word and then copy and paste it here. That way if I do "lose" it, I don't have to type everything again!

This just happend to me a bit ago Luckily, I have *most of the report typed in an email, so I just have to finish it up and try to repost it.

Hey everyone!

I'm sorry to hear that. I know how frustrating it can be when that happens. Maybe it would be best to type your text in your wordprocessor software--where you will be able to save it and retreve it afterall --then copy and paste it into this board. And if you get an error message, well you won't lose the time and effort you put into typing your text.

I've had that happen to me as well. I always copy long posts before just in case. I've lost too many posts
