Upgrading UT tickets with expiration date

Have had to move our trip forward a week. Looks like we will be able to spend more time at US though I had bought 2 day + third day free fix from UT - they say they must be used by June 17. Are these tickets upgradable ( as in adding an extra day). I had assumed they would be, but after seeing on another thread that WDW Tix with exp date could not be upgraded, thought I should ask.

Yes, they should be upgradable. You will pay the difference between what you paid and the new ticket cost. So, realistically, you won't be saving any money at all. The only time tickets aren't upgradable at USF is if they include Wet 'n Wild or some other park, or if they are comp tickets.

Ok thanks. I'm ok with losing the savings,just glad I don't have to buy another ticket if we want to stay another day.
