Upgrading undercovertourist.com tickets to park hoppers

We're getting 4 day 1 park per day tickets with Maxpass from undercovertourist.com. Tickets are $23 cheaper there than on Disneyland.com so we'll definitely buy tickets there. I don't think I need a park hopper with 4 days as we will go to California Adventure one day and do Disneyland the other 3 days. But in case I do want to go back to California Adventure and want to get a park hopper (this happened last year when Incredicoaster was broken down from 1 PM until the end of the day. We bought tickets on Disneyland.com then) can I upgrade at the park for just $50 or however much extra park hoppers now or will I have to pay more because I got discounted tickets? I hope this makes sense.

I haven't specifically done what you're doing, but I did just purchase 3 day PH plus MP through UCT and then transferred that to an AP. I paid roughly $375 through UCT and when I transferred it at the ticket booths, they applied a full $400 (what I would have paid through the Disneyland website) toward the cost of the AP.
