Upgrading to parkhopper

Since we've never been to DCA but have been to DLP, and only have a day and a half, we were thinking of getting two day passes without parkhopper. If we decide the second day that we really want to go into both parks, how much will it cost to upgrade to PH?

Or to put it another way, is there any disadvantage other than time spent at GS to deferring the decision to get PH until after we start using the tickets?

It costs $45 to add the park hopper option to a two-day pass (regardless of when you add it).

Great. So there's no reason to add it until you're sure you want it (and time constraints).

No reason to add it until you are sure you want it but it costs the same, regardless of the number of days, so there is no reason to push it until the last day either.
