Upgrading to Gold Annual Pass

Hi all,

Our family has booked a room with free dining on our upcoming trip. We are going to be staying in our DVC prior to the free dining. We have been told by cast members that we are able to access our park tickets 10 days prior to check at our free dining resort (as long as we are staying on-site and have linked the reservations). We have added the park hopper hopper to the tickets but no water parks and more. We plan to access the tickets the 10 days prior and upgrade them to Gold passes. Can anyone confirm that the the magic your way passes with park hopper are upgrade-able to Gold Passes?

Yes, you can upgrade your package tickets to any level of Annual Pass you are entitled to. You can do this at any park ticket window or guest relations location.

I am doing the exact same thing in November, but only staying 2 days prior to the Free dining checkin

You can upgrade the passes but I have never heard of anyone being able to access those tickets more than 3 days in advance. I would check with the ticket experts and ticket FAQ on the theme park board to see if it is different but you may have to make different plans if you need the tickets that far in advance.

The window for activating package tickets early was extended to 10 days prior to check-in.
