I purchased a 4 day Military pass for my weekend get away last weekend and was told I could upgrade to a DVC AP anytime before Sept 30. Now I am home and have decided I want to do the upgrade. Does anyone know who can do this? Can I call MS or do I need to contact the AP people by phone? Anyone ever do this before? All suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

Based on Cheshire's FAQ it does appear possible for the Military Salute ticket: as far as I can tell the upgrade would have to be made at WDW guest relations at any park or DTD

The Tickets may be upgraded to Annual Passes, Premium APs, Disney Premier Pass, Florida Resident Seasonal Passes, or Florida Resident Weekday Select Passes (with proper Florida ID). The normal 14 day upgrade period does not apply. However, there will not be “price bridging”; this means that the value of the ticket will be what was paid for it ($138 or $165) and not the current gate price of an equivalent MYW ticket. If the ticket is upgraded to an annual product the expiration date will be one year from the date of first use of the Ticket.

And thank you for your service!

Unless there is something unique to the military tickets, you will not be able to upgrade from home. AFAIK, ticket upgrades can only be performed in person at a Guest Relations desk.

My problem is I am not going back to WDW until December. Any one know if the transaction be done over the phone or email ?

Disney hasn't done telephone / Internet upgrades for years (if ever) and I don't see anything in the FAQ which indicates military passes are handled differently. Sorry.

The policy is part of Disney's restriction against selling partially used multi-day passes on eBay and similar sites. In order to minimize the "at home" value of any ticket, they require that all upgrades be performed on site.
