Upgrading to DLH

If the DLH is available for part of our stay and we ask when we check in at SL if we can upgrade for the last 2 nights, does anyone know if we would be offered a reduced rate than if I phoned up and changed it before we go?

Don't think oh would go for it anyway, but would be good to know if it's an option.

You are more likely to get a reduced rate if you upgrade before you go, as you are likely to get charged the "rack rate" (ie no discount or special offer rates) if you ask when you are already at the resort.

OK cool thanks. That's that out the window then as there's no way oh will agree before we go, but I thought once we were in the magic he might change his mind if it was cheaper how sneaky am I? lol
