Upgrading to Annual pass

Will you lose Your Park Reservations IF You Upgrade To A Disney Annual Pass? If you are a resort guest how many Park reservations do you get for the top tier? I plan to do this the first day since I want to be able to use my discounts.

1. Since you are staying on-site, you should not, but you just never know. (Best I can tell you.)
2. One park reservation per person for each day that you are staying at your WDW resort.
