Upgrading tickets w/ PIN code

I recently received an email w/ a PIN code and am planning on going doing the stated time frame. However, we were planning on buying AP's. The ticket included w/ the pin are hoppers w/ water park options (or whatever they're calling it these days). Does anyone know if it possible to upgrade these tickets to AP's. I'm being told know by the CM, but didn't know if maybe I could do it after I got there. The thought of staying on site really appeals to me since I haven't been able to do that since '95. Any help would be appreciated. TIA. Mary

I *think* you can only upgrade a ticket to one with "like amenitites". Because the ticket you have has water park options, I think you need to upgrade to a PAP. This may only be true if you *use* one of the waterpark-n-more options before trying to upgrade, but I'm not certain.

I'm pretty sure that if I haven't used any "plus" options I wouldn't have to upgrade to a PAP. I want to be able upgrade before I even get started. I just don't know if I can and wondered if any can tell me. I don't even know how they break down what you're paying for room and what you're paying for tickets if you book a package.
