Upgrading Ticket Question

So, we have a ticket that can be upgraded to an annual pass here. Is it possible to upgrade the ticket and give the annual pass to someone else, or does the fingerprint stick with the ticket even through its upgrade? (someone else used the ticket for its original set days, and if we upgrade it, someone else would keep it).

I think you could upgrade and let someone else use the AP. You would be using the value of the park ticket towards the AP and since your name is on the AP, you would just need to tell Guest Services who's name will be on it. The finger scan won't take affect until it's activated at the gate the first time.
