I have 6 day, expiring MYW passes. Now, I'm thinking of a 7 or 8 day trip. With teens, who may or may NOT want to be in the parks every day. Am I able to add a day-say, make it a 7 or 8 day, expiring pass at the end of my trip? Or do I need to upgrade at the beginning? It's not really that expensive to add a day-or two-is it? Thanks for ANY help.

You may upgrade at the end of the trip, as long as it is before the pass expires (14 days after first use). The recording on the monorail mentions this several times :)

Upgrading MYW passes -- You pay the difference between the gate price of what you had bought and the gate price of what you wanted.

For example a 6 day expiring (basic) pass costs $209. If you wanted to make it into an 8 day pass you pay six more dollars because the 8 day pass bought new costs $215. Indicentally, with hopping the 7'th and 8'th expiring days cost the same six dollars.

If you want non-expiration, the 8 and 9 day passes are not recommended. Upgrade to 10 or 7 instead.

(Starting with a 6 day non-expiring pass the 7'th day costs $14., the 8'th day costs $51., the 9'th day costs $4. and the 10'th day costs $4.)

Cool! Thanks for that information. Since they are expiring, there is no sense in going overboard for the teens. :) They don't have the same love of Disney that I do, can you believe it!??
