Upgrading my ticket to an annual pass ... will my FP+ be dropped?

Hello All,

I am upgrading my 7 day PH to an annual pass on my next trip, which I have done before. The problem is that the day I arrive I was planning on doing EMH at Magic Kingdom in the morning, but my pass only has 7 days on it. I have heard to not waste time upgrading and to go to EMH first then upgrade. My question is, if I don't upgrade before entering the park, will my FP+ be dropped for my last day that I then wouldn't have a ticket for until I upgrade?

No.

Why would that happen, anyway?
If you have enough ticket days currently in your MDX to make 7 days worth of advance FP+,
why would it drop the final day (7th day) of FP+ just because you used the first day on your ticket?
If you were NOT upgrading to an AP, you would still be using the first day of your ticket.

Maybe you mean that you will be using your ticket for MK EMH a DAY EARLY, stretching your park visits to 8 days. (You didn't mention that at all, but its the only thing I can think of that might cause you to "lose a FP+ day.")
Even if that is the case, if you upgrade to an AP sometime that first day, you won't lose any booked FPs.
