My Sister and her family have the $99 3 day Military PH tickets. They are getting there on a Thursday and are definitely spending Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the parks. My question is since they are getting there early on Thursday i assume they upgrade these by one day since Disney is in the business of making money? Anyone know how much that would be?

Thanks in advance :)

Those tickets can not be upgraded.

You will need to buy a regular 3 day hopper. Currently $199 until Summer with some blockout dates.

If they have some time before the trip, and I am assuming that you have access to a military base somewhere, probably the same place where they got the tickets, but these ITT Ticket places on base offer some good discounts.

For example, the 4 day adult hopper available on the base near my house is $168 where the 5 day is only $174. Kids are slightly cheaper and if you can exchange the 3 day tickets on base, this could be more economical.

Bummer. Guess she will just go with three days. Worth a shot asking :)

I'll have to respectfully disagree with Skiingfast. Yes, you can upgrade the military passes. The AP will be backdated to the first day the military ticket was used. You'll get the value that was paid for the military ticket put towards your AP. (my wife works in ticketing as a lead and I confirmed this with her...and I've long since learned NOT to argue with her. ;)

Before you had said they couldn't be upgraded to PHs and that is what the OP is asking about.

So is this correct, they can be upgraded to APs but not to PHs?

yep - I didn't read the OP's comments close enough.
