Upgrading Mickey's Halloween Party tickets to Annual Pass?

Does anyone know if you can upgrade the Mickey's Halloween Party tickets to annual passes? I would be purchasing them in advance with my annual pass but not finding any information on this.

No. You should be able to upgrade regular park tickets, but it would not work with party tickets since an AP would not have gained you entry to the party in the first place.

I want to make sure I understand. I think I got lost somewhere, or I'm old, or I'm tired, or all of the above. You have your own AP now, and you are going to buy MHP tickets using the AP discount? Is that correct? And then you want to upgrade the MHP tickets you buy to separate APs for other people? Or are you trying to combine multiple MHP tickets and apply the value towards one AP?

Yes, I have an annual pass (we had some free tickets this Jan., needed to purchase one extra though so I renewed my annual pass instead of purchasing a 1 day ticket), but the rest of my family doesn't. I would buy the MHP tickets with my AP discount. But looks like I'll be buying APs and MHPs anyway.
