So if the 4 of us have a free ticket from the give away get a day promo how does that work with upgrading to a delux AP? What would the total be for each AP purchased?

The Deluxe APs cost $299 right now so if you put your GAD voucher towards it it would be 299 minus 72 which would be $227

For children ages 3-9, it would be $299-$62 (since the value of their GAD is at the childrens price, but there is no childrens price for APs).

I doubt you'll find a GAD project for your 3 year old, I believe you have to be at least 6 for the projects.

I did the Binky Patrol for the Lincoln, CA chapter. My boyfriend and I bought the fleece from JoAnn's, made the blankets, then dropped them off on the lady's porch. We got our vouchers yesterday, which was 4 days after our commitment date.

Awesome! That is the same one we are doing. I'm excited. Love saving money and helping people at the same time!

Once we get to the park, how do we upgrade to the AP? This does actually work right? People have already done it?

I haven't done it yet as I am going in July but my voucher says that you have to go to the ticket booth to trade it for the 1 day ticket, then I'm guessing you can just upgrade it right there also.

Hey Radiator and Mommy~ I did Binky Patrol in Lincoln too...I am in Rocklin :) Good to see some local "faces".

We did Binky Patrol too and I loved the quilts I made, I am going to try to make another for them next year just for fun :)

For some reason I can't get my vouchers to print though- anyone else have problems? I got the email from Disney yesterday, but the voucher link doesn't actually work. I am going to try again tomorrow and then try to email Disney if they still don't print. ...not that I am headed down now, but I want to make sure there is nothing wrong!

My 9 year old and I are doing Binky Patrol as well. We are in Folsom. I plan on putting the vouchers towards Deluxe AP's in May.

I wonder if Disney will put out any "summer" deals on park hoppers since the 5 for 3 expires the end of April. Time will tell :)

Have you tried going to the Disney Give a Day site? Or have you just tried clicking the link? Because if you go here you can access your voucher the same way (by signing in). You just go to the lower right where it says Redeem Your Ticket and then click the Redeem Now button.

Also if you do not have adobe reader, if memory is serving me correctly, you will need that inorder to have the link open and download the document for printing.

Excellent! We are doing it too. Our due date is in March. Good to know we'll get our vouchers pretty quickly!

Did you guys make the fleece type that ties on all the sides? That's the kind of was thinking of making but want to make sure it qualifies.

We made quilts, but yes, the fleece blankets qualify too. Just make sure you read through her site- two small blankets per person or one large one (she has the size requirements on her site). Have fun!

Sac thread...NICE :)!!! We cleaned up the American River Pkwy!!!

I did this with mine...you just take the printed voucher to any ticket booth and they do it for you. I think they printed a ticket, then applied that to the AP. Don't forget to get your Volunteer button!!!!

Thanks for all the info, you guys are awesome. She said that basic strip piece quilts do not count. That is not the same as a fleece blanket right? Sorry for the dumb question but I'm not very good with this creative stuff.
