Upgrading GAD's??

I just wanna make sure I have this right...if we have GAD's and redeem them and then upgrade that ticket to a multi day pass it would be cheaper than using the GAD for a one day pass and then buying the multi day.

example...want a total of 3 day pass
initially was gonna do buy 2 day pass then use the GAD on the final day

But it would be cheaper to redeem the GAD for a Pass and then upgrade that to a 3 day pass...is this correct???

Yes. You take the value of the ticket you are upgrading to, subtract the value of the ticket you are upgrading from, and pay the tax on the difference.

For example, the value of a three day adult ticket (not counting tax) is $219 and the one day GAD ticket is $79, so the difference is $140. The cost of a two-day ticket is $156, so you save $16 by upgrading.

If you were going to do four or more days, the difference is more extrme as a four day ticket is $225.

It may be all the Easter candy muddling my brain, but I just need to make sure I’m figuring this correctly.

I’m trying to decide the best ticketing option for our group. All four of us have out GAD vouchers. We are thinking about getting 10 day PH passes so we can hit the parks on our arrival and departure day (as well as the day we go to MNSSHP). If we redeem our GAD vouchers for park tickets and then take them inside the park to upgrade them to the 10 day passes we would pay the difference of $235.18 ($314.18 - $79) for 10 day PH passes?

If that is correct, one more question. If we are unsure if we are going to be going into the park all 10 days can we upgrade to a 9 day pass and then later add one more day?

Your math looks about right. It should cost around that for each of the tickets. And yes you can upgrade to a 9 day ticket (or 8, whatever you'd like). You can upgrade it again later as long as it is within 14 days of then you used your first day (the GAD ticket). If you upgrade a 9 day ticket to a 10 day, it will only be 3 dollars or so.
