Upgrading from a PH tickets to an AP with Gift Cards

Does anyone know if you can use Disney gift cards to upgrade from a PH ticket to an annual pass? I was wondering if you can use several cards or just one per ticket.

Yes, I did this last March for both of my DD's AP's at guest relations in MK. Not a problem at all. I used as many as I needed for the 2 of them.

You can use as many GCs as you like.
