upgrading at WL

Has anyone ever asked how much it would be to upgrade to a Deluxe room at the WL at check-in? My DH and I were discussing this last night and wondered if it was even possible. We are traveling Sept. 20-27. Any chance of a Deluxe being available at check-in? I know there aren't that many of them. Right now we have a standard room thru the FTP.

HI! Well, I work at WL and as I recall last september was not all that busy in comparrison to the summer. However, the lodge does tend to get into the 85-100% capacity range on the weekends. So, if your trip has a weekend in it it may be hard to upgrade depending if those rooms are booked. You may simply want to call and see how booked they are for that time frame...then continue checking. I know this probably doesn't help much...Sorry.
