Upgrading at arrival?

Hello!!

First time Disney traveler here! This is such a helpful board & I'm hoping someone can shed some light. We have Poly LV reserved for Oct 4-11. We'd really like to change to GVC because it's only $10-$15/day difference, right?? I'd definitely be willing to give up the view for concierge. The travel agent says there's no availability right now. I know it's a VERY last-minute decision. Am I really naive to think we could make this change at check-in? Any advice is much appreciated I'm sure this question has been asked a zillion times, but have pity on a newbie

I was wondering the same thing - we check-in tomorrow at GF and I'm thinking of asking how much it would be to upgrade to a Lagoon View, but not sure how this is handled at check-in.

But you may always ask, you never know when someone needs to cancel so it may be available.
