upgrading after code expires

I had reservations at coronado using bbk code which expired already but they allowed me to upgrade to akl still using the same discount code.

Also the web site said no rooms available
but when i called they were there.

One question however.
The customer rep from disney said akl is pretty close to full, is that bad? I am not getting in till evening the first day.

I don't think so. If the code is expired, the reservation agent will be unable to enter it into the computer system.

I did it with bbk code but I was just upgrading and not getting a whole new reservation. This is exactly what I asked for. " Can I upgrade to a deluxe resort?"
