Upgrading a ticket, what's allowed?

Next spring we plan to do the DDP and as a result have to buy one day park tickets for everyone in our family. My husband and oldest DD both have leftover park tickets so they won't need their one day tickets. Can I use both of their one-day tickets toward upgrading my youngest DD to a park hopper, or can I only use her 1-day ticket to upgrade her? Basically I'm trying to get her park hopper to cost me as little as possible, but wasn't sure what Disney policy allows.

You will need to upgrade her package ticket.

Upgrading can only be accomplished by taking one ticket and adding cash.

Post-2004 tickets, new or not used more than 14 days ago -- one set of rules generally consisting of paying the added cost of the desired features.

Post-2004 tickets used more than 14 days ago -- another set of rules (dollar value trade-up; the exchange rate is not really good.

Pre-2005 tickets -- Not possible.

No. Upgrading is done on a 1 to 1 basis. You can't combine multiple tickets toward one new ticket.

That's correct. You'll only be able to use her ticket.

What are the ages of the children and when you say you have left over hoppers, what kind of ticket media are they. ie. old hoppers or old room keys with tickets.

My husband and oldest daughter have 4 days left on their 10-day non-expiring park hoppers that we bought last September. I had bought an annual pass because we were supposed to be back at Disney this week actually, but had to cancel our trip. I may or may not renew my annual pass, but my youngest was
only 2 when we went in September so she didn't need a ticket.
