Im considering trying to upgrade our 5 day base ticket that is coming with our fall package (can you upgrade a package ticket?) to a 10 day no exp wp and more ticket.(for use next summer)

Can this be done and for approximetly how much? and when can/should I do this?

Could we add on PH say next summer if we want to? or does that have to be done with the original upgrade?

Thanks for your time and brain power in advance!!!

Yes, you can upgrade the ticket, even though it is part of a package. It has to be done at a WDW theme park ticket window and within 14 days of its first use. So you would have to add Park Hopping on your first trip. As for prices, not sure exactly, but there are some nice charts here: http://allears.net/pl/ticketchart.htm. I know park hopping is $52(+tax) per ticket. The cost will just simply be the difference in price between the cost of your original ticket and the cost of the ticket you are upgrading to.

thanks!!!!

I think it will be around 294 to upgrade my 5 day base to a 10 day wp no exp and more (no hopping), which looks to be a savings of around 80 bucks (if you price out the 5day no exp wp and more ticket) plus it would give me 10 wp days instead of 5.

Anyone want to confirm Im headed in the right direction?

Use your ticket at least once first to bring it up to gate value ($242.82 for an adult). Then you will pay the difference between that price and the ticket you want ($536.76/adult without the hopping, $592.14/adult with hopping). I'm giving you prices with tax. You will get 10 days at the major theme parks with that and 10 minor park admissions with that ticket.

To confirm, all upgrades must be done within 14 days of first use, so you cannot wait for the next trip to add hopping.

If you are upgrading to a No Expiration ticket, and you will want to park hop during your second trip only, you will need to upgrade to Park Hopper NOW. You won't be able to do it next year.

EXPLANATION: Even with No Expiration tickets, changes/additions/upgrades can be made only up to 14 days from the ticket's first use.

The good news is, it's the same price no matter what ... $52 + tax regardless of the size of the ticket.
