Upgrading a 5 day hopper ticket to an AP

Hi Guys

Im sorry to bring up another upgrade question.

i usually would not have a question but i want to upgrade at the IG at Epcot when we usually upgrade in MK

We have always upgraded at MK City Hall guest services.
We Use the ticket first to get in, then bridged the ticket and pay whatever balance to get my AP and TIW all done within MK.


But~~~ at Epcot the guest service counter is BEFORE you enter the park.
So my question is......... should i just enter the park then immediately turn around exit the park then go right to Guest Services?

Will there be any problem entering the park and turning around in the next second and exit to go to GS?

I really hope this makes sense

I'm pretty sure there is also a Guest Services inside the park, near Spaceship Earth.

You don’t have to use the ticket first before upgrading. That requirement was dismissed (or never really necessary) a while ago. Just go straight to a ticket booth and upgrade.

1. ALL of the parks have a guest Relations outside the gates -AND- inside the gates.
(Epcot even has another Guest Relations outside the International Gateway entrance, near the UK pavilion.)
2. No problem doing that. But, there is no need to do that.

Correct.
You can upgrade a ticket outside the park before using the ticket or inside the park after using the ticket.
No difference.

Thanks everyone But i failed to mention i purchased discount tickets through UT. So i wanted to get the full amt of the 5 day hopper that Disney charges.

Do i still not have to go through the gate first?

Still no reason to use the ticket first.
The answer is the same as you have gotten up to now in this thread.

That said, if you feel more comfortable about it, you absolutely CAN use the ticket to enter the gate before you do the upgrade, and that upgrade can be done immediately after you have used that ticket to enter the park... at either the outside-the-park Guest Relations or at the inside-the-park Guest Relations... and you will get the same value in the upgrade transaction.
