upgrading 5 day pass to AP

Does anyone know if the 5 day hopper, that cost the same as the 3 day ($169), can be upgraded to the So Cal annual pass that cost $169. There is obviously no price difference. I know you you can upgrade to the deluxe or premium, but would rather have just the so cal ap. Thanks

Should be no problem. Friends of mine upgraded a regular one day ticket to the So Cal AP. Don't see why a 5-Day is any different.
