Just back from a stay at the Pop and MNSSHP. lmk, sorry not to respond sooner. We did not see many animals from our room due to us not being in our room that often. The location was zebra trail, Main savanah we were on the third floor. I requested third floor to be below the tree line and requested zebra trail based on these boards. I think the animals were there but we just did not stick around long enough.

Actually, the best tip we had was from a mousekeeping CM. He saw my son looking for animals at all the look out stations with his map and told us the fire escapes were the best place to view the giraffes etc. We went to the 3rd floor fire escapes all the way down on the end of the floor, away from the lobby. All the animals pass by this to get to feedings. We not only saw them, but they were up close to this location. On my most recent trip to POP, we had breakast at Boma last week and went to this spot to view animals. Again, we saw many.

I think my son enjoyed tracking the animals more walking all arond the hotel rather then staying in the room, more like going on safari. This was also an excellent way of exploring the rest of the hotel.
