Upgrades at the port?

With the new check in and testing process is there still an opportunity to upgrade your stateroom at the port? Have upgrades been easier to get due to the reduced occupancy?

Interested in this too! Does anyone know the average price difference of concierge on the Fantasy when upgrading?

Yes, upgrades are still available. After you check in you can ask where the supervisor's desk is. I do not know if they are easier to get or not.

We were able to get an upgrade from a verandah to a 1 bedroom on the Magic on January 2nd. We kept checking the availability on the website until it was removed a few days before sailing and could tell they had a lot of concierge rooms available. As stated above, we went to the supervisors desk immediately after checking in, they pulled out a piece of paper with a matrix and looked at the category you had booked, the category you wanted to upgrade to, and it showed the price. While cheaper than had we booked concierge ahead of time, it was still pretty expensive. Was totally worth it though!!!

I wondered (ha!) about doing that at the port. Right now the price difference is $4-6K MORE on the website. But they have 12 rooms available when we sail in 4 days. We’ll see!
