Upgrades at Port

Just wondering what is the process to upgrade at the port. Do I go to where you used to check in and ask a cast member there?

Yes. Once you're up in the terminal you would go to the check-in desks to the left.

They also in the past put up a sign on the desk when upgrades were full.

And go to supervisors desk

We missed an upgrade by one family!!! So every moment counts it you want an upgrade stalk the cruise site like a week out and see availability that will give you an idea

Last summer it was on the ship. But they do have a large space with the check-in lines, so they probably still have a supervisor line for you to go to before boarding.

I don’t know for sure about Europe this year, but I would not count on being able to enter the terminal before your Port Arrival Time. You can try, but you might need to wait outside until your PAT.

No, before Covid you could but the pandemic limited access to inside the port until your boarding time.

If you arrive before your Port Arrival Time, just expect to be standing in line longer. They walk down the line calling time groups.

Be aware that anyone on a B2B has the opportunity to get an upgrade before anyone oncoming is checked in. I was one of those - in Barcelona. An oncoming guest had her hopes pinned to the room I got and was very unhappy.
