Upgrades at check-in?

I was wondering if it's possible to upgrade your room size at check-in if there is availability, and how that works. For example, if you have a 1-BR booked but there is a 2 BR available for your length of stay, could you upgrade then? And if so, how does it work? Complicated? Or straightforward? Points? or Cash?

If the room was available and you had the points, they probably would let you upgrade to a larger villa. But you will have to use your points to get a larger villa. And it might take a while to get it all straightened out.

The CM at the check in desks contacts Member Services and they work it out that way. No problem at all
