Upgraded to CSR!

I was booked at POP, but I was not excited about the resort. It just isn't my taste I guess. I actually liked the All Stars, but I was very wary of POP, especially with my grandparents coming along. I really love the southwest, as do my grandparents, so I figured this was a natural fit. Buzz's site definitely pushed me over the edge. Cathy at DU was able to get me the special price even though the free ticket upgrade promo ended She's been great. I was originally looking at POFQ and POP, but I am glad I took my time and decided on CSR. I requested cabanas 9B as it seems pretty close to everything. I personally like the Cabana and Rancho look, but I want a close location due to my grandparents. I'm sure I'll wear them out at the parks, they'll want a short walk to the room! I am a little wary of the Pepper Market, but otherwise very excited to be booked at CSR.

We loved CSR!!!!! Would definitely go back, but this time we would request a different location because the Pepper Market was soooooo far away. There was a bus stop right behind our Rancho building though, so that made it easy. Pepper Market was good. We ate omelets or just bagel w/cream cheese. Sometimes we tried to use snack credits as breakfast there, too. It is just tricky because they don't tell you what is on DDP and what isn't so you have to ask about EVERYTHING. Have fun!

Great choice! I think your grandparents will love CSR. Besides the friendly staff, beautiful grounds, nicely themed rooms - the bus service rocks! We just returned and never waited more than 10 minutes for any bus (no standing either). My DH's favorite thing to do was sit in the HUGE hot tub at night.

We also loved the Pepper Market, the portions were huge and delicious and you didn't have to hunt for a table because the staff will sit you (real silverware and cloth napkins). They also would get our drinks for us in our refillable mugs and clear our table, well worth the 10% charge. It was such a civilized food court! Also, for quick service they have opened Cafe Rix. They have some great yummy selections there too.
