Upgrade Undercover Tourist park hoppers to AP?

I purchased 7 day PH's through UT for our Sept. 2017 trip.
Can these be upgraded to AP's and if so, how do we figure out the price difference? (i.e.: do I subtract the current 7 day PH price from the current AP price?)

WHEN did you buy the UT tickets?
Do they have an expiration date (Dec. 31, 2018) on them?

If you have not opened your UT tickets (from their sealed packet)
do not do so until we get more information.

The price to upgrade depends on these things.
 
Hmmmmm...there have been some recent posts about people having issues upgrading UT tix to AP's.

I just bought two 7 day hoppers for a savings of $69 each off the gate price hoping to upgrade them to AP's when we arrive late June. They were E tickets so they are only on my MDE account right now. I was hoping to just walk into MK with my MB on my arrival day then go to guest services and bridge them to AP's. Do I need to actually pick up the physical ticket at will call? Is there anything else I am missing that I need to do?

1. Its not so much UT tickets, its "third party" tickets. And, it is untrained WDW Cast Members who are the problem, not the tickets.

5. Just KNOW in advance the exact cost to upgrade so that you will know if the CM is giving you the correct price.

3. Subtract the price of these same tickets PRIOR to Feb. 12, 2017 ($467.54)
from the current cost of the AP that you want. (Which AP do you want?)
Pay that difference price for the upgrade.
