upgrade to deluxe dp after booking?

Hey, we booked our vacation in december when they were offering free dining. We're staying at a value resort, so we got the quick service plan for free, we upgraded once to have it include 1 sit down/day. Now that the gvacation is closer and I know our plans I'm starting to think we should've gone deluxe. We're doing Cinderella's Table for breakfast, so that takes away 2 dinner "tickets" and our daughters aren't included on the plan b/c they are both under 3... so we'll be paying out of pocket for their meals (they'll share 1 kids' meal) and snacks (they can both eat an icecream on their own, but mostly they'll share those too). We're also staying off property our 1st night, so the days on the package are full days. We have 5 days at the parks, bbut only 4 meals "tickets". So, I'm thinking it would be worth it to upgrade to deluxe, but I don't know if they'll let me. Anyone? If yo happen to know how much it'd be too that'd be amazing

When we stayed value in September 2010 during free dining we got QS free but upgraded to deluxe. It was a straight upgrade from QS to Deluxe...but I don't see why they wouldn't upgrade you again for the additional cost of Deluxe.

Yes, as long as you do it no later than 72 hours before arrival. There is a sticky thread on this forum that has all upgrade costs.

Thanks, I actually decided to call last night and I upgraded. It took 40 minutes on the phone because the computer system wouldn't let the guy upgrade me since I had free dining and that offer has expired. It got done though, just took a long time and the guy talking to a few people. The difference was $33 per person per day, so it ended up being worth it for us.
