Upgrade to DDP Deluxe?

Currently I have the Disney Dining Plan, I'm wondering if I should upgrade to the deluxe. It is me and dd14 from April 16-20, 2016. Here are my current ADR's.

Saturday - CRT ( QS lunch)
Sunday - Tusker House & Chef Mickey's (QS lunch)
Monday - Garden Grill & Hollywood & Dine (F pkg)
Tuesday - Crystal Palace, BOG & The Plaza
Monday - BOG

fyi.. we are snackers!

8 - TS (2-CRT)
4 - QS

I'm thinking I will be outta pocket easily $325. Is that about right??

Check out www.distripplanner.com. My bet is, the dining plan isn't going to be worth it at all unless you got it for free.

Isn't Chef Mickeys a TS? It sounds as if it could really be a great deal, but I would then make a change or two, as in swapping Hollywood and Dine for Hollywood Brown Derby, with the fantasmic package and a signature dinner in place of the Plaza. Whatever you decide, have a magical time!!

Yeah, if that is what you are choosing - you are definitely paying quite a bit OOP.... You've got 16 - 18 TS Credits here and 4 - 6 CS Credits - depending on when you are going to BOG. If you love the dining aspect - it might be worth it to splurge and you'll end up with a few extra meals, plus nothing OOP.

Mind you we prefer DxDDP anyways. It is always worth it for us and our small kids at this point. We do a lot of Character Dining and my Hubby and I enjoy a few Signature Meals while they are at a Kids Club.

My 2 cents - The plan prices jump quite a bit, especially since your dd is considered an adult. I'd price it out using the online menu prices because you have several breakfasts which are overall cheaper so not sure that you'd be saving $ by upgrading to the deluxe plan.

If you wanted to make the regular dining plan work, some suggestions:
1. The Plaza is mostly sandwiches and can easily be substituted with a QS. Colombia Harbor House has some interesting options that are heartier, MK has many CS options overall though. Especially if you're paying OOP for that meal while having excess QS credits. This way you'd be using 3 of 4 credits. I think realistically on Sunday you'll probably just snack because you have 2 buffet/big meals planned that day.
2. Compare cost of Garden Grill/Crystal Palace/Tusker House and see how 2 would compare to CRT and pay either for CRT out of pocket or 2 character breakfasts.
