I purchased a FL resident rate and got an inside 11A stateroom. I'm now very concerned about being in an inside stateroom and having issues with seasickness. With this rate, can I upgrade at port? I know it will be a cost but I want to know if it is possible with the FL resident rate?

I get bad motion sickness. I've also stayed in inside rooms and verandahs. No difference between the type of room. What effects it more is location of the room. I find lower and midship to aft is perfect.

If you really want to upgrade, don't wait until the cruise. Do it now.

Yes, you are able to upgrade at Guest Services upon boarding. I've stood in line behind people who were doing that in the cruises I've sailed since reopening. It's a rare cruise that has no upgrade availability from an 11A.

I've sailed in inside, oceanview and verandah staterooms, forward, mid and aft, always deck 5 or higher, and never had issues with seasickness, btw.
