Upgrade resort

Hey- I am booked for AllStar Movies in Dec. If a good rate comes up for a moderate can I upgrade without penalty?

I know you can if you have a room only ressie since I did!don't know if it would apply with a package but I would guess so, don't think disney would turn down more money. I changed the same ressie from FW to Pop ( ap rate) to por ( ap rate) with no problem ( then had to cancel! just paying back those cms who made me wait for hrs on the phone to get ap rates ( not really))

There should be no penalty if you booked directly with Disney. If you booked thru a TA or one of the discount travel websites like Expedia, then their cancellation policies would apply.

Thanks guys! You all are so quick. Yes it is a room only res booked thru Disney- I hope Disney Visa will come out with similar room rates (as their spring rates) for next fall. If so I will upgrade to POFQ or POR. DH and I will be celebrating our 10th anniv. on this trip and we spent our honeymoon in New Orleans so I thought it would be cute if we stayed there.
